Do You Know What You Believe?

I believe in the Father, the Creator-God who made our world and all that is good and holy. I believe in His Son, Jesus, my Savior, my Redeemer, my King, my Love. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the life giving breath shared between God who is Love and Jesus the Beloved. When the Holy Spirit breathes on us, we are capable of loving the unlovable and doing what seems utterly impossible in our humanness. I believe in the Saints and especially in our dear mother Mary who prays for us and continually points the way to her Son. I believe in the Holy Catholic Church, my home on earth that I chose and that chose me. I believe and love the Scripture and will probably spend the rest of my life trying to figure out what our faith family stories mean. This is the core of my faith: love God and love others. How I pray that I can live it!
